Country & Overseas Events

Each year the College hosts a number of functions in regional and rural NSW and overseas. These events are an opportunity for prospective families to find out more about St Joseph’s College, as well as a chance for current and former students and families to get together, socialise and share the Joeys community spirit.

Overseas Functions

The Headmaster and College staff will visit Singapore, Hong Kong and Shanghai in February-March 2017.

There will be opportunities for prospective families to meet with the Headmaster as well as a number of functions for Old Boys, current and former families and friends of the College.

Joeys weekend in Young – 15–17 September

The close connection we share at Joeys between city and country families has existed since 1881 and is a very important part of the unique education offered at Joeys. For the past 10 years many city mothers have journeyed west to postcode 2830 for the wonderful experience that is Dub Vegas. The hard working Dub Vegas committee is taking a well-earned rest this year, so we are excited to announce a new country experience for Joeys families.

Past and present families from the cherry capital of Australia, the beautiful town of Young, have invited us to join them mid-September (Friday 15 to Sunday 17 September 2017). This is a stunning time of the year in the region, with the cherry trees in blossom and the yellow flowers of canola blanketing the hills. More details will be available in Term 2, but we invite you to save the date.
