College Athletics Carnival

ATHLETICSThe competition was on fire at this year’s College Athletics Carnival, with outstanding performances across all age categories leading to some very close results.

Athletics Convenor, Mr David Drain, said the competition for title of Age Champion was very pleasing. “It was very close in a number of divisions, with some champions being decided by only one or two points. The boys gave it their all which resulted in some very exciting events.”

The House Colour competition was won by White on 1,207 points, followed by Red on 1,091 points and Black on 1,049 points.

Headmaster, Mr Ross Tarlinton, thanked the boys and the staff for helping to make the day so enjoyable. “I would like to personally thank David Drain for the organisation and execution of the carnival. It was a great day. Thank you to all staff involved for the effort, energy and diligence applied to the event, and thank you to the boys for their enthusiasm and participation. It was a long day, but certainly a very enjoyable one.”
