Richard Glover is known to many as the presenter of the top rating Drive show on ABC 702 Sydney. He is the author of 12 books, including Why Men Are Necessary, The Mud House, Desperate Husbands and two short novels for children, The Dirt Experiment and The Joke Trap..
Richard has been short listed for the Walkley Awards three times - once for his radio interviews and twice for his newspaper journalism. His weekly humour column has been published in The Sydney Morning Herald for more than ttwenty years. In 2004 he was awarded the Broadcaster of the Year Award for ABC local radio.
In December 2011 Richard and Peter Fitzsimons achieved a record for the world's longest radio interview, supervised by the Guinness Book of Records.
In 2012 Richard was appointed the NSW State Ambassador for the National Year of Reading.
