To celebrate the National Year of Reading in 2012, the Brother Liguori Resources Centre will combine three great pastimes – eating, reading and socialising – at a series of Books & Blokes Breakfasts.
The series will be launched by well-known author and media personality, Andrew Daddo on Monday 13 February 2012.
Fathers and sons, grandfathers and brothers and other special ‘blokes’ are invited to come and enjoy a free bacon and eggs breakfast while sharing their love of books and reading. Quizzes and competitions will add to the fun, and there will also be lucky door prizes up for grabs. Andrew Daddo will speak and there will be plenty of time for catching up with mates or making new ones.
