Scholarship Testing 2012 - Important Information

Academic Scholarships for boys entering Year 7

The date of scholarship testing at St Joseph's College for entry into Year 7 in 2013 will be Saturday 25 February 2012.

Registrations for this program will commence late in Term 3 2011 and will close at 5pm on Monday 6 February 2012.

Please note that registrations prior to 16 December 2011 will receive an Early Bird Discount.

The examination takes three hours, during which the candidates sit four separate papers. The examination is set by the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) and a number of other independent schools use the same examination, sat on the same day. The following should be noted:

• An academic scholarship will only be awarded to a candidate with results that are in the top percentile of the State
• A scholarship is awarded on the basis of a purely academic result from the test.  Other factors do not come into the decision
• Applicants can only apply Online to register to sit for the scholarship test
