St Joseph’s College is extremely proud of the facilities and resources it provides for students.
These include a Visual Arts centre, a Drama centre, a Music centre with Mac computers for digital producing and specially designed practice and rehearsal rooms, a purpose-built Science wing and a contemporary and well-equipped Resources Centre that is open to students day and night and on weekends.
A state-of-the-art Technology and Arts Precinct opened during Term 2, 2013. This spectacular addition to the College campus allows students from Years 7 to 12 to explore and develop their creative talents in spacious, flexible and dynamic learning areas. It also houses the Farrell Auditorium, a large, light-filled multi-purpose area over looking the back ovals. The space is used for exhibitions, student gatherings and community social events.
The College’s highly acclaimed sporting facilities include eight rugby fields, two football fields, five high-quality tennis courts, indoor and outdoor basketball courts and cricket nets, five turf and six artificial cricket wickets, a swimming pool, a fully drained 400 metre running track, a well-equipped rowing shed located on Tarban Creek and weights and cardio gymnasiums.
St Joseph’s has its own outdoor recreation centre, Colo in the upper Colo Valley, approximately 45 kilometres north-west of Windsor. Colo is also the site of the College’s Agricultural facility, Colo Rural, which includes a small Angus cattle stud.
The College Health Centre was refurbished at the beginning of 2013. It provides a professional health service for the students of the College.
The College has its own beautiful chapel, where regular masses are conducted for the students and the wider College community.
