Tickets to major College events, as well as many parent year group and sport supporters events, can be purchased through the Joeys online shop. 

First time users of the shop will need to register and create a password. 

If you have any difficulty booking your tickets or cannot find the event you are looking for please contact events@joeys.org.

Throughout 2020 there will be a number of wonderful performances by Drama students of all Year groups. Parents, carers and friends of the College are invited to support and experience these occasions.

 

The Re-Imagining Possibility Forum and Short & Sweet Festival

A Drama Dept special event for 2020. Join 4 recent Joeys old boys who achieved Band 6 or were nominated for OnStage, parents, thought leaders such as Professor Michael Anderson ( co-founder of CREATE at the University of Sydney) and Stan Grant (Journalist and TV Presenter, as well as past parent), Entertainment Industry Professionals as well as current Senior HSC Drama Markers and current students performing their Individual Performances in progress,  for a night of what excellence in learning through Drama may look like now and in the future.

 

The HSC Drama Pre-Showcase Evening

The Senior Drama Production

When: Wednesday 29 July to Friday 31 July, 6.30 pm for 7.00pm

Senior Drama students collaborate, research and create a self-devised piece of theatre and music based around a contemporary theme of real significance. The Production follows in the footsteps of last year’s successfully co-created piece in collaboration with the Music Dept, ‘Regatta’, based on the winning of the King’s Cup for Rowing in 1919 and celebrated that centenary and contribution by Joeys’ parents and old boys. This year’s production is in progress and ready to be launched formally in Term 2.

 

The HSC Drama Showcase

Year 12 students final public performance of their Individual and Group Devised Performance Projects for the Joeys community and as an opportunity to receive formal and informal feedback on their learning journey  as they finalise their preparation for their external performance assessment commencing 24 August. A showcase of individual and group excellence in student theatre.

 

The Year 9 Drama Christmas Presentation

When: Friday 13 November, 6.30 pm for 7.00pm

Year 9 Drama showcase for the Joeys community the skills and knowledge acquired in their learning journey about performance in a high energy, one hour piece of contemporary theatre. The performance follows in the tradition of last year’s performance of ‘Scrooge’ and is a fitting entrée to the season of Advent and celebration of the confidence and ability of our emerging student performers.

 

2020 St Joseph’s College Art Exhibition

The Joeys community is warmly invited to the opening of the SJC Student Art Exhibition. Guests will have the opportunity to view the 2020 HSC Bodies of Work, as well as works by all Visual Arts, Photography and Digital Media students.

2020 Information evening

Twice a year St Joseph’s College Hunters Hill runs Information Evenings for prospective families. These evenings have been developed to inform parents about the College, provide information about our Academic, Co-curricular and Sport programs, as well as give those in attendance the opportunity to meet with the Headmaster, senior staff of the College, Heads of Department, other parents and some current students.
